Tips from the Tour – Lee Westwood and Your Pre-Shot Routine

To help with consistency, we've enlisted the help of one of the most consistent players in the game today, Pro V1x loyalist Lee Westwood.Lee told #TeamTitleist that a solid pre-shot routine is as important to consistency as a solid golf swing. And in the video, Lee details the steps he's built into his routine.Do you have the same routine for a tee shot, mid-iron and a wedge? The latest Titleist Tip from the Tour features one of the most consistent players on the PGA Tour in Lee Westwood, who goes over his pre-shot routine! As many of you may have heard, whether it’s from your instructor or from somewhere else, a solid pre-shot routine is just as important to consistency as a solid golf swing. In the video, Lee goes over his own pre-shot routine, explaining the steps he takes before making a nice, smooth swing. Lee also notes that if we watch the other pros on TV, rarely will we see a routine be different from club to club! That’s definitely something to look for next time you watch golf and be sure to incorporate your own pre-shot routine from this Tip from the Tour!
