The United States Golf Association (USGA) have partnered up with NBC Learn and Chevron to create this series called the Science of Golf where many topics are explored. In this video, the physics behind the development of golf clubs is discussed, comparing designs from the past and present.
We’ve already seen how some golf clubs are made, most notably Mizuno Golf’s Grain Flow Forging process and Miura Golf’s forging factory. In this video, we go a step further back in the production process of golf clubs and understand the physics and design elements of a golf club! Be sure to come back and see the other Science of Golf videos we’ll be featuring!
