This past week, many of the world’s best players were playing either in the Waste Management Phoenix Open or in the Omega Dubai Desert Classic. Rory McIlroy and Tiger Woods teed it up over in Dubai and were paired together for the first two rounds of the tournament. Arguably the two most popular names in golf, it’s only natural to compare their golf swings. Rory McIlroy has been playing much better over the past couple of months after his only win of 2013 at the Australian Open over Adam Scott. Since then, his swing has looked much better and he looks a lot more comfortable on the golf course. Tiger Woods on the other hand has admitted he hadn’t spent as much time practicing in the off season, which you can see in his first two tournaments of 2014 at Torrey Pines and in Dubai.
Rory would finish the tournament T9 at 12-under par and Tiger finished T41 at 6-under par. Take a look at a driver swing comparison between the two golfers by Golf Channel!
