Last year, many other young golfers who were on the rise also joined Team Nike, but were probably overshadowed by the huge signing of Rory McIlroy. In addition to Rory, Kyle Stanley, Nick Watney, Seung Yul Noh and Danish born, Thorbjorn Olesen also joined Nike Golf. Olesen, who turned professional in 2008, made his breakthrough on the PGA European Tour last year with a win at the 2012 Sicilian Open as well as six top-10 finishes to finish 15th in the 2012 Race to Dubai.
