Many athletes golf in their off season and today, NBA’s Kevin Durant of the Oklahoma City Thunder uploaded a Instagram video of himself taking a swing! As you can see, Kevin seems to be just starting out in the game as he whiffed on the ball on his first try! Kevin is one of the best players in the NBA and has been the NBA scoring champion three times from 2010 to 2012. Despite his talent on the hardwood and insane athleticism, it might not translate to the game of golf as well as he anticipated.
Learning the game of golf takes time and as seen from fellow NBA player Deron Williams’ Instagram account and the video below, he’s put some time in his swing! As avid golfers, we should all know how under-appreciated the game can be at times by the general population! We bet KD appreciates the game of golf a lot more after today!
