Mizuno Yoro Japan Crafted: Part 4

We hope everybody had a great Christmas holiday and got to find some good shopping deals during the After Christmas/Boxing Day sales – especially for some new golf gear! We’re going to continue with the Mizuno Yoro Japan Crafted program and introduce part 4 today.

Part one, two and three dealt with the customized stamping, weight, head size and grooves of an iron or wedge. In part 4, the customized finishes are starting to implemented. After engraving the grooves, the club heads are put into the process of polishing. The club heads are put into a polishing barrel that contains a small stone with polishes the entire club face uniformly throughout the head while the drum rotates for hours.

After the polish in the polishing drum is complete, Mizuno Technicians then start the shine finish of the club head, which is what you see in the video above! You can see the care and craftsmanship that Mizuno Technicians take, repeating stringent checks in polishing process – one of the factors that support the quality of a Mizuno Club order. The finishing processes are getting started and a customer will soon receive their customized Mizuno Yoro Japan Crafted irons and wedges!
