Today, we present part 3 of the Mizuno Yoro Japan Crafted program. Part 1 and Part 2 dealt with the club head lie, loft, size and weight. Today’s video shows how the grooves, or “score lines” as they call it in Japan, are manufactured onto a Mizuno wedge. All the data is entered into a computerized system, so the machines will know the exact depth to engrave the grooves without conflicting with golf rules. A computerized system ensures a precisely carved set of grooves on every wedge and iron.
