Mizuno Yoro Japan Crafted: Part 1

Earlier in the week, we featured Mizuno’s Yoro Japan Crafted program, which features fully customizable sets of irons and wedges from the Mizuno Japan lineup, direct from the factory. Over the next couple of days, we will be featuring the process of production and customization through a couple of videos by the Mizuno Yoro Japan Crafted program. Above is part one, which shows the craftsmanship of Mizuno Technicians customizing the loft and lie of an iron.

Order of Mizuno equipment through the Yoro Japan Crafted program begins in the custom order center located in the Mizuno factory where Mizuno Technicians confirm all of the contents of an order. Once all of the details are finalized, the custom order is transferred to the production line of the factory. Many different types of equipment are kept in stock to ensure all possible custom combinations. The skill and craftsmanship by Mizuno Technicians even allow them to change the weight at the club head, while keeping the same shape and size of the various club head types and styles.

Each club head can have custom engraved logos or markings on the back of the club head. The position of these logos and markings can also be customized, as well as deletion. The amount of customization is remarkable through the Yoro Japan Crafted program. In addition to cosmetic customization, the factor that influences performance and trajectory of a golf ball, the loft and lie angles, are also customizable, which is what you see in the video above.  Mizuno Technicians will manually adjust these performance measures themselves, checking the precision on multiple monitors, to ensure perfection.
