Mizuno Japan has introduced a new line of golf bags and head covers for the 2013 season. It is a collaboration design with Kinoshohampu, a handmade bag designer in Japan, that is known for their clean and stylish designs. Kinoshohampu has been creating bags for over 100 years in Japan and are known for their unique weaving style, creating simple and modern, yet elegant designs.
The Frame Walker Caddy Bag was introduced in 2012 and is specially handcrafted and made in Japan by Kinoshohampu for Mizuno Golf Japan. The unique design allows the frame of the bag to be totally visible on the outside, thus the name “Frame Walker” was assigned. Not only is it functional, but the bag is also a fashion statement for those who want to stand out on the golf course.
In addition to the Frame Walker Caddy Bag, Mizuno Japan and Kinoshohampu has also collaborated in creating a line of driver/wood head covers and putter covers. Both lines feature a natural leather material with a polished finish. Inside, it is fully padded to provide great protection for your clubs. The putter covers are made for standard blade style putters though! The design is again simple, yet elegant, bringing back a bit of “old school” feel into the modern era of golf. Multiple colorways are available – be sure to check out the Mizuno Japan website! There are also many other very unique Mizuno Golf Japan collaborations that we will feature over the next couple of weeks, including collaborations with Porter and 241.CO.
