This season, Callaway Golf made a big splash by announcing the return of the Big Bertha driver. In addition to the Big Bertha, Callaway has also released new lines of golf balls, the Supersoft and the Speed Regime! Now, a third line of golf balls has been announced as Callaway adds the X2 Hot golf balls to their collection.
The X Hot line made a name for itself when Phil Mickelson used its technology to win the Open Championship. Since then, the technology has made its way to consumers with the X Hot 3Deep fairway woods as well as making an appearance in the Long Drive contest!
There are two versions to the Callaway X2 Hot golf balls, the X2 hot for swing speeds under 90mph and the X2 Hot+ for swing speeds over 90mph. Both balls are multi-layer 3 piece balls with a surlyn cover and a mantle layer, which enhances ball speed. Its main characteristics are its great feel and the ability to reduce hooks and slices in order to deliver long, straight distance. That’s something that could help most golfers out there!
