Poulter has recently been spoken of as one of the “best players without a major” in the game right now. Although he’s had remarkable Ryder Cup success, that same intensity has not seem to translate into all four days of a Major championship. Hopefully, these TrackMan sessions help dial him in! Part 2: Optimizing club speed, ball speed and carry distance
In 2012, Ian Poulter ranked 24th in Total Distance Efficiency on the PGA TOUR. Total Distance Efficiency takes the player’s average total distance on drives divided by their average club speed measured by TrackMan.
