Bubba Watson is known most for hitting it “Bubba Long” but his short game is not too shabby either! Recently, we featured Bubba making a guest appearance on Titleist Tip from the Tour, where he gave a tip on how to cure the slice! In a CNN feature “Hotshots with Bubba Watson,” Bubba showcases his short game talent by hitting three shots, three different ways from 60 yards!
The main difference in Bubba’s shots in this showcase is the ball flight that he hit his shots. Using a 64 degree wedge, Bubba hits shots with a low, medium and high ball flight! From a yardage of 60 yards, it’s quite difficult to move it left or right hence, Bubba uses his imagination to get the ball to the hole. Trackman was used to track Bubba’s shots, including the height of his ball flight and the spin rate on the three different shots! Watch to see which shot Bubba got closest to the hole!
