You may have seen the Windstopper by Galvin Green and their amazing way to show up for a tee time! We’ve also featured Galvin Green’s spring and summer 2013 collection, and today, we’re bringing you their “uncompromising” autumn and winter 2013 product range specially developed for demanding weather conditions. As we enter wetter weather for the autumn and winter seasons, the focus for Galvin Green is to optimize functionality, comfort and promoting their Multi-Layer Concept.

The Multi-Layer Concept is a full range of high-tech garments designed to match and function in combination in all types of weather conditions to ensure you perform at your best. They’re specially developed for the game of golf, designed by golfers, for golfers. The layering concept includes a base layer for dry comfort, a warm/cool layer for thermal regulation and a shell layer for outer protection against the elements (the Windstopper).

The base layer is designed to wick away moisture from the skin, while the compression technology enhances blood circulation and oxygen levels in the muscles, providing greater stamina. The warm and cool layer provides breathability and thermoregulation to keep your body at optimum performance temperature, regardless of the weather outside. Lastly, the shell layer protects golfers against rain and wind, while giving the breathability needed for the golfer to allow for moisture and excess heat to escape.

This autumn and winter 2013 collection focuses on movement and comfort, and combines advanced materials and innovative designs to not only allow a golfer to look good on the course, but also perform at their best! Make sure to check out their catalogue here! We could sure use some of these products with the weather we have in the Pacific Northwest lately!
