After another weather delayed event on the PGA TOUR, the BMW Championship was forced to complete the tournament at Conway Farms Golf Club as a Monday finisher. We have been watching some great rounds of golf throughout the BMW Championship, including low scores, one very low score by Jim Furyk and a hole-in-one by Hunter Mahan! Unfortunately, Jim Furyk could not close out and win the tournament with his round of 59 on Friday, but it was Zach Johnson who played strong and steady throughout the tournament that snuck in on the last day to win with a total score of 16-under par, catapulting him into the top-5 in the FedEx Cup Playoff points standings. The last stop for the FedEx Cup Playoffs is for the TOUR Championship at East Lake!
The top-5 in the official FedEx Cup point standings heading into the TOUR Championship presented by Coca Cola at East Lake are as follows: 1) Tiger Woods; 2) Henrik Stenson; 3) Adam Scott; 4) Zach Johnson; 5) Matt Kuchar. Any one of these five players can win the FedEx Cup with an outright win at the TOUR Championship. Notable names that made it into the top-30 include Luke Donald who seemed to be in “The Moment” the past couple of days, finishing the tournament T4 with a score of 11-under par and also Dustin Johnson. The top-3o players can be viewed here. Take a look below at a point of view video and exclusive look at the front nine at East Lake and see what the players face at the Tour Championship!
