Last week, we featured the first part of a new series “Everyday,” on PGA Tour’s YouTube channel. The series follows the University of Washington’s golf team as they embark on their journey to win the school’s first ever golf national championship. Led by senior and top-ranked amateur player, Chris Williams, this week’s episode of “Everyday” takes a deeper look at the Huskies’ leader!
Joining the likes of Hunter Mahan, Rickie Fowler and Bill Haas, Chris Williams was the recipient of the 2013 Ben Hogan award. This award is issued annually to the nation’s top male amateur golfer and is considered the most prestigious award in college golf! Despite winning multiple awards including the Ben Hogan award and having the most wins in school’s history, Chris remains humble and has an extremely hard work ethic according to his coach and teammates. Take a look at the video and “meet Chris Williams!”
