Last week, our Course of the Week took us to Cabot Links, where Graeme McDowell and Graham DeLaet had their “Match at Cabot Links!” This week, we are featuring the Fox Harb’r Golf Resort & Spa in Nova Scotia, which offers a championship golf course as well as a 9-hole executive course!
Designed by Graham Cooke, the courses at Fox Harb’r blend the challenges of Scottish Links and a traditional parkland course perfectly. The outward 9 lures golfers away from the sea to an environment of sheltered forest and expansive wetland. With the inward 9, the course highlights the Scottish links flavour as it is drawn along the rugged sea coast of the Northumberland Strait of the Atlantic Ocean! Eight years later in 2009, Tiger Woods played at Fox Harb’r for a private event and shot a course record 63!
