We’ve featured the spring and summer 2013 collection by Callaway Apparel a couple of months ago with brand ambassadors Ryo Ishikawa and Kay Fukabori. In this post, we get a sneak preview of the autumn and winter 2013 collection with a behind the scenes interview with Kay Fukabori.
In this special interview, Kay Fukabori talks about his thoughts on the image of Callaway as a brand and the role Callaway played in his golfing career with his father. He also speaks about the pants campaign and the patterns that are the main focus and theme of this season’s collection (mainly the checkered patterns). You’ll notice that Callaway Apparel Japan uses a lot of bright colors and patterns in their designs and keeps the cutting of their apparel quite slim and fit, while also providing the needed amounts of movement for a golf swing. Watch the video and get a behind the scenes look at what a golf fashion photo shoot looks like as well as a preview of the Callaway Apparel autumn and winter 2013 collection! Do leave us a comment and let us know what you think – especially if you’re fluent in Japanese and can help us with a better translation!
