It has been nearly two years since Bubba Watson’s last victory but today, the drought finally ended as Bubba pulled out a victory at the Northern Trust Open! Aside from filming commercials for Ping, Bubba must’ve put in a lot of work on his own game in the off-season as well!
Bubba started off the final round four shots back but that deficit was quickly erased in six holes. Shooting two rounds of 64 on the weekend for a combined 14-under, Bubba went on to win by two shots with a total score of 15-under. When Bubba won the Masters in 2012, his son Caleb was just adopted and as you can see below, Caleb has grown up and is cheering his Daddy on! That has to make the victory that much sweeter. Congrats, Bubba!
