Tiger Woods Reborn

It’s been approximately two years since Tiger Woods broke a 5-year win drought when he won the 2018 Tour Championship. The scene on the 72nd hole was unforgettable and it seems almost impossible during these current times. Many considered Tiger’s 80th career PGA Tour victory at East Lake the completion of his comeback but who knew he was just getting started.

Tiger would go on to capture his 15th career major title at the 2019 Masters, then followed it up with his 82nd PGA Tour victory at the ZOZO Championship in Japan. With the defense of both of these titles coming up in the next few weeks, we figure it’s a good time to reflect on how Tiger began his journey back to top form.

In the video above, we hear from Tiger and his surgeon as they provide insight on the long and excruciating process that ended with Tiger getting a spinal fusion surgery. They discuss the “specifics of the ALIF procedure and the STALIF® technology” that essentially gave Tiger his everyday life back and gave golf fans around the world to watch the GOAT play golf again.
