Tiger Woods’ accomplishments in Major Championships are legendary. At the US Open, there are no shortage of highlights of Tiger’s success, including his epic victory at the 2008 Championship versus Rocco Mediate, where he competed on basically one leg. He also made history at the 2000 US Open at Pebble Beach Golf Links, accepted by many to be the most dominant performance in the history of the game, and leading to the year of Tiger Woods and eventual Tiger Slam. The 2019 US Open was also held at Pebble Beach and high expectations were once again set on Tiger after his emotional victory at The Masters in Augusta, perhaps one of the greatest comeback stories in all of sports. Tiger would finish T21 at 2-under par while first time Major Champion Gary Woodland captured the trophy at 13-under par.
