Before introducing new golf clubs, Titleist is known for their tour seeding and validation process on professional tours worldwide. We have seen this process play out for Titleist’s famous Vokey SM7 wedges and last year, the TS2 and TS3 drivers were introduced ahead of the 2018 US Open at Shinnecock Hills.
This year, Titleist introduced the T100, T200, T300, 620 MB and 620 CB irons ahead of the 2019 US Open at the famed Pebble Beach. This is also in addition to the new TS2 and TS3 hybrids and U-500 and U-510 utility irons introduced at the Memorial Tournament. Just as the TS line of woods was a replacement for the 900 series, it appears that the new irons may be replacing the 718 irons. Details are sketchy at the moment but make sure to follow us on Instagram or Twitter to get updates!
