Last week, Gary Woodland captured his first major title at the US Open at Pebble Beach Golf Links. As with all major winners, there is a media whirlwind after such a big victory and for Gary Woodland, there is no exception as he made his way to New York shortly after lifting the trophy at Pebble Beach.
In the video above, Gary made a stop on “Bloomberg Markets: European Close” as he discusses his first major victory. Gary also drops by the Today Show where he reunites with his good friend and Special Olympics golfer, Amy Bockerstette! As Gary tells in the interview, Amy’s positive energy and their friendship was an inspiration to him during his US Open victory.
