My US Open: Graeme McDowell (2010)

Pebble Beach Golf Resorts have hosted the US Open five times and this year, on its 100th year anniversary, it will once again host the national championship. The last time the US Open was held at Pebble Beach was in 2010, when dark horse winner Graeme McDowell of Northern Ireland claimed his first major title.

Before Graeme’s victory, it had been 40 years since a European golfer claimed the US Open title. After hearing reigning Masters Champion Tiger Woods talk about his dominating victory at the 2000 US Open at Pebble, Graeme McDowell reflects back on his victory in 2010 in this “My US Open” feature from the USGA.
