Nike Golf exited the hard goods side of the business a few years back but their presence in golf apparel and shoes is still strong. Similar to the Snake Pack for the Masters, Nike Golf and Jordan Brand Golf has released the “No Denim Allowed” Pack ahead of the 2019 US Open at Pebble Beach. This Pack features many iconic shoes from Nike and the Jordan Brand, including the Air Jordan XI Low Golf, the Nike Air Max 1 Golf, the Nike React Vapor 2, the Nike Roshe G, the Nike Tour Premiere and the Nike Air Zoom Victory Tour.
As “a tongue-in-cheek rebuttal to traditional course dress codes,” Nike has designed denim uppers to their collection of shoes in the “No Denim Allowed” Pack. California wildflowers were also the inspiration behind the pattern in the plate and sockliner of the shoes, given the venue of this year’s US Open Championship at Pebble Beach. With 2019 being the 100-year anniversary of the host course, Nike Golf stamped a symbol on the shoes to commemorate the anniversary. An additional symbol of a wave was added to exemplify Pebble Beach’s coastal environment.
The Nike Golf “No Denim Allowed” pack releases June 10 on nike.com while the Air Jordan XI Low Golf releases on June 14.
