We may be in the middle of golf’s off-season but this Friday, Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson will be going head-to-head in The Match at Shadow Creek Golf Course in Las Vegas. In anticipation of The Match, HBO released an episode of 24/7 that gives us an inside look at how the two stars will prepare for this one on one battle.
In the sneak preview videos, we hear from Tiger as he relives his journey after fusion back surgery and built himself up throughout the season to eventually win the Tour Championship. We also follow Phil Mickelson around Shadow Creek as they scout the golf course to get any advantage they can ahead of the competition.
After yesterday’s press conference, there is already a $200,000 wager on the first hole as a side bet. With The Match being on Pay-Per-View, this will be an unique experience for viewers as they get to hear trash talk and bantering in between shots. Will you be watching The Match?
