Sand Hills Golf Club is consistently regarded as one of the top golf courses in the world. Located in Mullen, Nebraska, Sand Hills was designed by Coore and Crenshaw, the same designers as one of our favourite courses, Cabot Cliffs, in Nova Scotia, Canada.
With Nebraska’s natural and unique topography, Coore & Crenshaw used a minimalist approach as they carved out a links-style golf course. Sand Hills Golf Club is one of the most exclusive golf courses in the United States so not many people get to see what the highly regarded golf course looks like. However, in the video above, Golf Digest takes us on a flyover of Sand Hills as Senior Architecture Editor, Ron Whitten, narrates us through the overview.
