The sport of golf is rapidly becoming a global game. A few weeks ago, CNN Living Golf took a look at golf in Italy shortly after Francesco Molinari’s victory at the Open Championship. The 2022 Ryder Cup will be held in Italy but before we get too ahead of ourselves, we have the 2018 Ryder Cup in France to look forward to as it begins in about a week’s time.
The 2018 Ryder Cup will be held at Le Golf National, just outside of Paris from September 25 to 30. Thomas Bjørn will captain the European team while Jim Furyk hopes to lead Team USA to their first Ryder Cup victory on European soil since 1993 at The Belfry in England. In the feature from CNN Living Golf above, we take a look at the state of golf in France as well as the impact that the 2018 Ryder Cup will have on the country.
