The BMW Championship is the third of four events in the FedExCup Playoffs and determines the final field of 30 for the TOUR Championship. The event takes place at Aronimink Golf Course in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania. In the final round of the 2018 BMW Championship, 18 holes were not enough on Monday as Justin Rose and Keegan Bradley moved to a sudden death playoff. Bradley would make a 4 on the 1st playoff hole to secure the win. Watch highlights in the video above.
“A lot has happened to me over these six years,” Bradley said. “I kind of fell of the radar there for a little while. It’s tough to go from being on Ryder Cup teams, being on Presidents Cup teams to being outside the top 100 in the world.”
This was Bradley’s first PGA TOUR victory in six years. He shot a final round 64 to finish at 20-under-par. Although Justin Rose didn’t get a trophy on this trip, he did reach No. 1 in the Official World Golf Ranking. Rose, who overtook Dustin Johnson, joins Nick Faldo, Lee Westwood and Luke Donald as the only Englishmen to reach No. 1.
