Bryson DeChambeau is one of the most interesting players on the PGA TOUR. He is a “golf scientist,” plays one-length clubs and has a one-plane swing. Some people may not agree with his approach to the sport, but results don’t lie. Not only did he win the US Amateur and the NCAA singles title in the same year in 2016, but he has also won multiple times on the PGA TOUR now, including two victories this season! His first win of 2018 was at The Memorial Tournament and just this past weekend, he grabbed his second win of the season, moving him to first place in the FedExCup standings with rounds of 68-66-63-69 to finish at Eighteen Under Par and four shots clear of the field at Ridgewood Country Club for the 2018 Northern Trust Open.
He is also ninth on the Team USA Ryder Cup list, with the top-8 automatically making the team. With his strong play of late, will he be a Captain’s pick to represent the USA in France in a couple of weeks? Watch highlights from DeChambeau’s latest victory in the video above.
