Dustin Johnson Wins 2018 RBC Canadian Open

After missing his only cut of the season last week at The Open Championship, Dustin Johnson teed it up at the RBC Canadian Open at Glen Abbey Golf Course and put together rounds of 68-66-65-66 to finish at 23-under-par and capture his third victory of the season. His previous two wins came at the 2018 Sentry Tournament of Champions and the 2018 FedEx St. Jude Classic.

After nearly a two-hour rain delay, DJ pulled away from the field and never looked back. He previously finished T2 in 2013 and 2016, but with his connections to Canada now, it is more or less a “home” tournament for him. His fiance, Paulina Gretzky, is daughter of all-time NHL leading scorer Wayne Gretzky, who comes from Brantford, Ontario, just 67 kilometres down the road from Glen Abbey. Watch highlights from the final round of the 2018 RBC Canadian Open in the video above.

Hamilton Golf and Country Club will host the 2019 Canadian Open. It is also shifting forward in the PGA Tour’s schedule, moving to early June in the week before the U.S. Open.
