Fresh off his best finish on the PGA TOUR since 2013 at the Valspar Championship last week, Tiger Woods teed it up this week at the 2018 Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill. With his strong play of late (and it only looks to be getting better), he was the favourite to capture his ninth victory here at Bay Hill this week. Tiger has give us a lot of memories at Bay Hill and in the video above, you can watch his Top-10 shots from over the years. And with the way he played this week, he definitely added to the impressive list of shots above!
Tiger definitely gave himself a chance to win this week, posting a total score of 10-under-par with rounds of 68-72-69-69 and finishing T5. He was one-back at one point on Sunday, but a drive off the tee that went out of bounds on the 16th that led to a bogey, followed by another bogey on the 17th, ended his chances. Rory McIlroy, who shot a final round 64, didn’t give anybody else in the field a chance though. He won the tournament at 18-under-par by three shots, birdieing five of his last six holes.

With the way Woods has been playing, his odds of winning The Masters, as per Vegas, have only been going up. In August, when Masters odds opened, Woods was listed at 100/1 to win, but after the Hero World Challenge in December, those numbers went to 20/1. His odds were increased to 16/1 after the Honda Classic and after a second-place finish at the Valspar Championship last week, they’ve dropped to 12/1… then 10/1… and during his first round at Bay Hill, those odds officially went to 8/1, so Tiger is the betting favourite to win the Green Jacket! With Rory looking to be back in top form and Tiger officially “back,” we can’t wait to see what will happen on Masters Sunday!
