For the fifth time this season, Justin Thomas is in the winner’s circle as he won the second event of the FedEx Cup playoffs at the 2017 Dell Technologies Championship. By shooting a final round of 5-under 66, Justin was able to hold off his good friend Jordan Spieth and Marc Leishman to win the tournament at TPC Boston by three shots.
This has turned out to be quite the breakthrough season for Justin Thomas. After winning the 2016 CIMB Classic, where he repeated as champion, Justin also won the SBS Tournament of Champions and the Sony Open in Hawaii. To top it off, Justin added a Major title to his resume by winning the 2017 PGA Championship!
With his latest victory, Justin Thomas has moved into the second spot in the 2017 FedEx Cup playoff standings heading into the final two playoff events. The PGA Tour will have a break this week before heading to Chicago for the BMW Championship at Conway Farms Golf Club, where Dustin Johnson will defend his title.
