The first thing that comes to mind when we think of Jason Dufner is his pre-swing waggle, “Dufnering” and of course, the 2013 PGA Championship. He’s been out of the mix as of late, but this past week, he broke through again for his fifth professional victory. His last victory came in 2016 at the CareerBuilder Challenge.
After opening the tournament with 65-65, he was seemingly in control until a third round of 78 on Saturday. It looked like he would be out of contention but after some rain delays on Sunday, Dufner grinded for a final round 68 and and three shot victory over Rickie Fowler and Anirban Lahiri.
