Japan is one of our favourite countries to visit in the world. It is a very exciting place to visit to experience local culture and amazing food. Japan is also the world’s 2nd largest golf market and is truly unique. From Japanese golf clubs to fashion-forward clothing, the golf industry is truly unique compared to North America.
With the rise of Ryo Ishikawa and recently, Hideki Matsuyama, golf is again becoming a popular sport in the country. In this May 2017 edition of CNN Living Golf, Shane O’Donoghue visits Japan to find out about the history and the future of the game.
