For the first time since 1981, the PGA Tour will feature an official team event at the 2017 Zurich Classic at TPC Louisiana. There will be 80 two-man teams in the event, with some high profile names that will make up one of the best fields in tournament history.
Among the teams are Jason Day and Rickie Fowler, your winners of the past two Players Championship and Justin Rose and Henrik Stenson, your Olympic Gold Medalist partnering up with the Olympic Silver Medalist and reigning Open Champion. The format of the Zurich Classic will feature alternate shot in the first and third round while the second and final round will consist of the Fourball format.
