Last week, the Arnold Palmer Invitational Presented by MasterCard was without it’s host for the first time, but the legacy of Mr. Palmer will live on on-and-off the golf course. Although Mr. Palmer, who passed away last September at the age of 87, was not waiting behind the 18th green at Bay Hill to congratulate Marc Leishman after he won on Sunday, he did get a hug from his wife and their two sons!
Leishman, who had rolled in a 52-foot eagle putt on the 16th hole, took a lead that he would never relinquish and won the Arnold Palmer Invitational by two strokes, his first victory since the 2012 Traveler’s Championship. Watch the video above for highlights from the tournament at Bay Hill!
