The last few years, we have seen Australian golf reach its pinnacle. Adam Scott became the first Australian to win the Masters in 2014 and Jason Day was the number one golfer in the world before being overtaken by Dustin Johnson recently. In the February edition of CNN Living Golf, we explore the state of Australian golf with host Shane O’Donoghue as we hear from various legends from the land down under.
Naturally, much of the episode focuses on Australia’s current top golfer, Jason Day, whose story and relationship with caddie Col Swatton has been much documented. Aside from Jason’s story, we also reflect back on two of Australia’s golfing greats, Peter Thomson and Karrie Webb. These are two of the most successful golfers from Australia and it’s easy to see how they have left their footprint in the game of golf.
