Leading up to and during the first couple days of the Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines, the focus was squarely on Tiger Woods and his return to the PGA TOUR. He was paired with fellow TaylorMade Golf staff players Jason Day and Dustin Johnson, however, all three would not make the cut.
Even with the absence of some of the biggest names in golf, we were treated to a spectacular finish. The leaderboard on Sunday was tight the entire day but it would be 22-year-old Jon Rahm who would had a birdie-eagle finish to clinch his first PGA TOUR victory at 13-under par. Charles Howell III and Cheng Tsung Pan finished T2 at 10-under par. In the video above, watch highlights from the Farmers Insurance Open and Rahm’s first win! The PGA TOUR now gets ready for their crazy week in Arizona for the Waste Management Phoenix Open.
