This past weekend, Hudson Swafford won his first tournament on the PGA Tour at the 2017 CareerBuilder Challenge. It was a clutch performance as Hudson birdied three of his last four holes to win by one stroke over Canadian Adam Hadwin. Hadwin, who became the eighth player on the PGA Tour to shoot 59 on Saturday, had a one shot lead going into the final round.
Unfortunately, Adam shot a final round of 70 while Swafford caught fire at the end of his round and shot 67. It was certainly an exciting tournmament but next week, the excitement will rise to another level as Tiger Woods makes his return. Tiger will begin his stretch of four tournaments in five weeks as he gets ready for the Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines, starting this Thursday.
