For the second time in the short 2016-2017 PGA Tour season, Justin Thomas narrowly beat Hideki Matsuyama as he finished strong to win the 2017 SBS Tournament of Champions by two shots. This is Justin’s third PGA Tour title, after successfully defending his title at the 2016 CIMB Classic in Malaysia but this is his first victory on US soil.
Justin Thomas started the day with a lead at the Plantation Course at Kapalua. The lead ballooned to five shots after 13 holes however, a double-bogey on the 15th shrunk the lead to just one. Despite the mistake, Justin was able to finish strong, making birdie on his last two holes to capture his second title this season. Watch the video above for highlights of the final round!
