2017 is only a day away and after visiting Open Champion Henrik Stenson at Lake Nona and touring Royal Dornoch, CNN Living Golf wraps up 2016 with a visit to Beaverbrook Golf Club. Beaverbrook Golf Club is the first course design in the UK for eight-time major champion Tom Watson.
Along with golf course architect David McLay Kidd, Tom Watson was able to create a golf course with the same kind of dedication that he had during his playing days. Beaverbrook is not just a golf course though but it’s a complete resort. In addition to golf, other facilities include a hotel, a spa and a cooking school to name a few.
