Thorbjorn Olesen is having a pretty solid month of November. Earlier in the month, he won the Turkish Airlines Open and just this past weekend, he won the 2016 ISPS HANDA World Cup of Golf with partner Soren Kjeldsen.
The Danish duo cruised to victory on Sunday in the best-ball format, shooting a final-round 66 at Kingston Heath to win by four shots at 20-under par. It was Denmark’s first win in the 58th playing of the tournament. They displayed a game of power and finesse, dominating the golf course, which began with a Friday 60 that gave Team Denmark the lead for good. Could this be a future Ryder Cup Team Europe pairing?
Rickie Fowler and Jimmy Walker of Team USA also shot a Sunday 66 to finish tied for second. They were joined by Team France (Victory Dubuisson and Romain Langasque) and Team China (Wu Anshun and Li Haotong). In the video above, watch highlights from the final round of the 2016 ISPS HANDA World Cup of Golf!
