Jim “Bones” Mackay has been a mainstay on Phil Mickelson’s bag for the last two and a half decades. Together, they won have five Major Championships, which includes three Masters, a PGA Championship and an Open Championship.
In this feature, VICE Sports’ Fernando Perez spends some time with Jim MacKay as they get together for a quick round of golf in Arizona. During the round, Jim tells a few interesting stories from his time on Phil’s bag. He also shows us some basics of caddying.
