After the season opener at the Safeway Open last week, the PGA Tour has its first international event of the 2016-17 season. This week’s tournament is the CIMB Classic, where a highly competitive field will take on the challenge of TPC Kuala Lumpur.
The field consists of 43 PGA Tour winners and half of the players from the 2016 TOUR Championship. Among them is last year’s champion, Justin Thomas, as well as Ryan Moore, Adam Scott, Patrick Reed and Emiliano Grillo. Justin’s victory last year propelled him to a great season where he made the TOUR Championship and players will be looking to do the same this week in Kuala Lumpur.
