The 2015-16 PGA Tour season concludes this week as the Top 30 in the FedEx Cup standings will battle it out in the 2016 TOUR Championship. The season’s finale will be played at East Lake Golf Club however, there will be a slight modification this year with the front 9 and back 9 of the golf course being flipped.
The result is a 600-yard par 5 finishing hole as opposed to a 235-yard par 3. This will certainly raise the excitement level and bodes well for a dramatic finish! There are many scenarios that could happen but the top 5 players in the standings are guaranteed to be crowned the 10th FedEx Cup Champion if they win the TOUR Championship. The top 5 are Dustin Johnson, Patrick Reed, Adam Scott, Jason Day and Paul Casey.
