The 2016 Deutsche Bank Championship is held at TPC Boston this week. It is the second event of the FedEx Cup Playoffs where the top 100 players in the standings after the Barclays, are eligible to be in the field.
Twelve FedExCup Playoff rookies are still in the field but there will be many veterans as well. Rickie Fowler will defend his title in Boston after a disappointing finish last week at Bethpage Black. Among the four venues in the playoffs, players average the most birdies per round at TPC Boston so we should expect to see some low numbers this week from the world’s best players.
