The importance of golf equipment fitting can’t be stressed enough. From your driver all the way to your putter, when your equipment is fit to your exact game, you’ll definitely start seeing improvements. And this is exactly why Scotty Cameron has launched their new line of Cameron & Crown putters, offering four of their most-trusted models precisely crafted at 33 inches and specifically weighted for players who prefer shorter putters.
Golf manufacturers often offer putters at different lenghts, but it is rare for them to offer a 33-inch putter that is specifically weighted for the player. With the Cameron & Crown line, the putters are matched with properly weighted 360-gram heads (two 20-gram sole weights) and a smaller diameter white Matador grip.
“When we pioneered the adjustable sole weight system, it became possible to match the putter head weight relative to the length for a balanced stroke,” Cameron said. “Cameron & Crown models are purpose-built 33-inch designs, not manipulated 35-inch putters, with two 20-gram weights to ensure the swing weight and feel of these putters are consistent with their longer counterparts.”
The four head shapes that the Cameron & Crown line comes in include the Select Newport 2, Select Newport M2 Mallet, GOLO 5 and Futura X5R. They will feature a raw stainless steel finish and Silver Mist treatment that reduces glare. Three milled dots and a white, gold, silver and black color scheme complete the design. Scotty Cameron’s Cameron & Crown line launches September 23 and retails for USD $380 per putter.
