The FedExCup Playoffs will kick off this week at the Barclays. This year, the top 125 in the standings will take on the challenging Bethpage Black, which is notoriously known for its difficulty. The course has twice hosted the US Open, with Tiger Woods coming out on top in 2002 while Lucas Glover was victorious in 2009.
World number one Jason Day is the defending champion as he won the event last year in the midst of his incredible 2015 season. However, it will be Jordan Spieth who will be defending his title in the overall FedEx Cup playoffs. Currently, Jason Day is on top of the FedEx Cup standings while Jordan is not too far behind in fifth place.
