After a packed weekend of golf last week at the Olympics and the John Deere Classic, the PGA Tour is at the 2016 Wyndham Championship this week at Sedgefield Country Club in North Carolina. It is the last event on the PGA Tour before the FedEx Cup Playoffs begin next week and players who are on the bubble will try to earn a spot inside the Top-125 spot in the FedEx Cup standings.
Among the players who are outside the cut is Ernie Els, who is looking to kick start his game and get into the playoffs. In addition to FedEx Cup points, players are also looking to booster their position to make the Ryder Cup team. Rickie Fowler will be in the field this week as he tries to earn a spot in the biannual event at Hazeltine National Golf Club this year.
