We are only a day away from Olympic golf after a 112-year absence. Although a few of the world’s top players have withdrew from the games due to various reasons, the field at Rio is still very strong. Among them are Major Champions Justin Rose, Bubba Watson and Martin Kaymer while on the women’s side, Lydia Ko and Suzann Pettersen are two of the top competitors.
In the Olympic Golf Preview from Golfing World, we hear from these top players as they get ready for this long awaited event. We also hear from various media members as well as Gil Hanse, the architect responsible for the Rio Olympic Golf Course. Although Rio is not known as a golfing hotbed, this golf course has received rave reviews and we can’t wait to see the world’s top golfers take it on!
